NASA is watchful for an accomplice to lead a challenge among understudies to name the organization’s next meanderer to the Red Planet – the Mars 2020 mission – in the 2019 scholastic year.
The Mars 2020 wanderer mission tends to high-need science objectives for Mars, including key inquiries concerning the potential for life on the Red Planet.
Enterprises, not-for-profits and instructive associations inspired by supporting the challenge can send proposition to NASA.
To be viewed as, all proposition must be gotten by October 9, NASA said in an announcement on Friday.
“We’ve been doing naming challenges since the simple first Mars wanderer in 1997,” said Thomas Zurbuchen, Associate Administrator for the Science Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters, in Washington.
“A great many children take an interest, and their eagerness for the challenge and Mars is irresistible,” Zurbuchen said.
The chose accomplice will have a chance to be a piece of a memorable mission, NASA said.
Mars 2020 is focused for dispatch in July or August 2020 from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida
